1. You must not
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose;
- send messages without the required consent, or to anyone who has opted out, this includes spam and any unsolicited commercial messaging;
- message recipients with whom you do not have the relationship and consent described in our SMS Terms, or upload contact lists you do not have the right to use;
- send prohibited content, including content related to illegal activity, hate or harassment, adult/sexual content, or the categories restricted by carriers (often summarized as “SHAFT”: sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco), or anything misleading about the sender or purpose;
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with us;
- interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or introduce malware;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing product from the Service, or exceed documented rate or volume limits; or
- violate CASL, CRTC rules, the National Do Not Call List, or applicable provincial laws, or the terms of any integration you connect.
2. Your messaging responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you send and for obtaining and recording consent. You must honour opt-out requests promptly, respect reasonable frequency and quiet hours, and keep your 10DLC / sender registration accurate where applicable.
3. Our enforcement rights
Because Referral Booster and its providers are directly accountable to mobile carriers and to the law, we may investigate, throttle, suspend, or terminate any use we reasonably believe violates this AUP, our SMS Terms, applicable law, or carrier requirements, with or without notice, depending on the severity and the risk to others. We may also report unlawful activity to the authorities.
